We prefer to retain trees where possible, but sometimes trees need to be removed.

  • Excessive rot and decay affecting the structural soundness

  • The wrong tree for the spot where it was planted

If your tree needs to be removed, our professional arborists will perform the work safely and efficiently. We also clean up after ourselves, making sure your garden is left neat and tidy. You have the option of keeping the wood and mulch, or we can take it all away.

Stump Grinding

Not only do stumps look unsightly, they can harbour termites. Stump grinding is the most efficient and cost effective way to remove stumps.

Pest Control and Management

Chipping  

Sometimes you might want to tackle that small job yourself. It can bring great satisfaction. It can also leave you feeling overwhelmed with the greenwaste. We can chip up your greenwaste and either leave it as mulch for your garden or take it away completely.

Emergency Services

Unfortunately trees fail from time to time. This can be an inconvenience or catastrophic. We are on-call to respond to such situations, and depending on the circumstances, we can either completely remove the tree, or render the tree safe.

Habitat installation  

Increased biodiversity makes the local ecology more resilient to possible impacts, and it is also be extremely rewarding to observe. We install possum boxes, nest boxes, and other habitat to increase biodiversity and attract native wildlife to your garden.

Dangerous Tree Removal

Some trees are simply too dangerous for arborists to climb, and require specialised machinery to ensure safe and professional removal. TLO Tree Services is equipped with an EWP (cherry picker) that allows us to remove dangerous trees. 

Machine wet hire (hire with operator)
